Kathleen Carey: Looking Within by Looking Out

I believe there exists in all people a desire to yield to, listen to, or deny a higher being. We are constantly looking for answers to explain the contradictions inherent in natural phenomena. The contradiction for me is that I look best within by looking out, at the sea and sky in their everchanging and overwhelming presence and at the moment when something seems to “come together.”
